PSNC

Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center (PSNC) is affiliated to the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences. PSNC serves as an academic HPC centre and a broadband network services provider as well as application and services developer and provider. PSNC employs about 300 people in four divisions: HPC and data infrastructure, networking, applications and networking services.

MK

Hungarian Public Road (MK) is a national road operator company which is 100% owned by the Hungarian State. MK is responsible for the operation and maintenance of more than 31 000 km national public roads. With regards to its 5500 employees and its economic indicators the company stays within the first ten state owned enterprises in Hungary. The activities of the Hungarian Public Road consist of operation, as well as the routine ant preventive maintenance of the national public road network including expressways and motorways.

Know-Center

The Know-Center is Austria's competence centre for data-driven business and big data analytics, founded in 2001. As a connecting link between science and industry, the Know-Center conducts application-oriented research in cooperation with other academic institutions and with companies. Today, the Center has over 100 researchers, 37 industry partners, over 700k Euros annual industry assignments, a dedicated business development cooperating with major players and offers data-driven services to hundreds of users and has spun off three companies.

HLRS

The High Performance Computing Center Stuttgart (HLRS) is a research and service institution affiliated to the University of Stuttgart (USTUTT). Founded in 1829, the foremost aim of the University of Stuttgart lies in the fields of engineering and natural sciences, which nowadays is represented by 150 institutions distributed over 10 faculties, 5.000 employees, and about 26.000 students.

Dialogik

Dialogik logoDIALOGIK, founded in June 2003, is a non-profit research institute organised in the legal form of a limited company. The institute is located in Stuttgart, Germany, and has 22 staff. As a non-profit research institute, DIALOGIK provides knowledge and expertise to all interested parties and makes its research results public.

The University of Salzburg is a modern university with over 18,000 students and more than 2,500 employees. The University of Salzburg is one of the main universities in Austria with close collaborations to different higher educational institutions worldwide as well as industrial partners. The university consists of five faculties, and a few inter-faculty departments. The University of Salzburg is one of the 7 universities in Austria that offers Bachelor-, Masters- and PhD-programs in Computer Science.

SZE

The main campus of the Széchenyi István University (SZE) is situated in Győr, Hungary on the halfway, cca. 100 kilometers along the highway between the capitols and industrial centres of Budapest and Vienna providing excellent location for national and international industry. Actually, among other parties of several industry sectors the largest engine factory of the world, the Audi Hungaria Ltd. and hundreds of automotive suppliers have been operating here.
